Frequency

Under Settings, choose how often monitored pages are checked:

  • Hourly
  • Twice daily
  • Daily
  • Manual only

You can also run a check at any time with Check now on the dashboard.

Automatic re-check after updates

About 90 seconds after a plugin, theme or WordPress core update, SEO Sentry schedules an extra check. That catches SEO regressions caused by the update soon after they happen.

Performance

Section titled “Performance”

Checks run through WordPress scheduling (WP-Cron), not while visitors load pages. Resource use depends on the number of monitored pages, check frequency and hosting.
